Dr. Moira Murphy, Ph.D.
President
Dr. Murphy offers clients practical knowledge of the challenges and critical success factors involved in management, marketing and education in an international environment. She frequently provides executive education training to multinational companies and is a skilled consultant. She specializes in the areas of intercultural/multicultural communication and marketing, negotiations, strategic plans for international marketing and international representation of products, services, institutions and people.

Her practical experience and her network of well-established contacts stems from over a decade of professional work experience in the United States and Mexico.  She worked extensively on the North American Free Trade Agreement, bringing high-level public and private sector stakeholders from Mexico and the United States into the negotiations while at the think-tank Center for the New West.  As a professor in the MBA Program at the Tec de Monterrey (MBA ranked 27th in the world), Cd. Juárez, Mexico, she was named best professor during the entire time of her tenure at the university. A successful writer, her research has been used by the US Congress and the State of New Mexico to set policies. Her  work on binational relations appears in the book Chihuahua Hoy, billed as the definitive work on modern Chihuahua.

Dr. Murphy served as a Fulbright Scholar in Mexico and a Rotary Scholar in Peru. She holds a Ph.D. in Latin American Studies with specializations in International Management and Sociology from the Latin American and Iberian Institute at the University of New Mexico, a Master’s degree in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and Harvard University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Latin American Studies with Honors from Brown University.  An avid internationalist, she has lived and worked in the United States, Spain, Costa Rica, Mexico and Peru, as well as having close ties to Ireland. A native of Boston, Massachusetts, she is fluent in English and Spanish.


Mr. Oscar Peña, MBA, MMA
General Director
Mr. Peña offers clients practical knowledge of management and marketing in Mexico. A successful entrepreneur, he is the owner of Pizza House, a chain of American style pizzerias in northern Mexico. Currently he is the Director for Interceramic in Cd. Juárez, a publicly traded company. Previously he served as the Director of BioGas, a division of Tomza, where he designed an innovative corporate image for one of the largest gas companies in northern Mexico. Mr. Peña specializes in the areas of standardization of processes, quality control and marketing in Mexico

Mr. Peña earned a Master’s in Business Administration and a Master’s in Marketing from the Tec de Monterrey, Cd. Juárez campus.  His undergraduate degree in Business Administration is from the Universidad Autónoma de Cd. Juárez. A native of Casas Grandes, Chihuahua, he has extensive contacts in public and private organizations throughout Mexico.
